A Stress-Free Summer when your reflexologist is on Holiday:
Hey there, fellow wellness seekers! As a reflexologist, I totally get it. Managing Workplace Stress When Your Reflexologist is on Holiday can be tough. However, while we love our clients to the moon and back, we also need time to recharge and care for our families.
On the other hand, we’ve noticed the challenges many of our clients face during the summer holidays. Managing stress and maintaining wellbeing can be a real struggle when your go-to reflexology sessions aren’t available.
At Happy Feet Reflexology, relaxation is our jam. Without your reflexology sessions on hand (pun intended), mindfulness techniques can be your go-to for promoting health and happiness. Head over to our YouTube channel for quick one-minute mindfulness tips, and don’t forget to subscribe to our weekly wellbeing reminders. We’ll send you bite-sized exercises that reset and relax your mind in no time.
Save this blog and keep it handy for some select mindfulness tips to help you create and maintain a stress-free summer:
- Start Your Day Mindfully: Take deep breaths and set positive intentions for a focused and positive mindset.
- Create a Mindful Space: Organize your surroundings with calming elements like plants and natural light.
- Prioritize Self-Care: Make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
- Practice Mindful Breathing: Reset your mind with mindful breathing when stress arises.
- Be Present in Interactions: Practice active listening for a positive work atmosphere.
- Set Realistic Expectations: Prevent burnout by setting achievable goals.
- Take Mindful Breaks: Rejuvenate your mind with short mindful breaks throughout the day.
- Express Gratitude: Cultivate appreciation for your work environment and supportive colleagues.
Embracing mindfulness can help you sail through stress even when your reflexologist is away. Let’s make this summer a time of well-being and growth together.
During our conversations, some clients shared their struggles with UTIs during holidays. After discussing potential reasons, we discovered that walking barefoot on cold surfaces and neglecting hydration were contributing factors. Additionally, leaving wet bathing suits on the lower abdomen can increase the risk, it doesn’t take much to have spare, dry swimming thongs with you and quickly change after your swim. If you suffer from polycystic ovaries or endometriosis, this is your number 1 rule to follow for a stress and UTI-free summer!
There are more reasons to stay hydrated, than avoiding UTIs while on holiday. Staying hydrated during holidays is vital for your well-being and stress management. Hydration supports your body’s ability to cope with stress, promoting mental clarity and emotional balance. Whether you’re lounging on the beach or exploring new destinations, drinking enough water keeps you energized, refreshed, and better equipped to handle stress. Don’t forget to hydrate and create a relaxing and enjoyable vacation experience.
For August, we’re taking our own advice and putting our feet up (while still working on our corporate program, exploring a few gorgeous place for future retreats and enjoying some much needed family time).
