A Reflexology an ancient healing technic. It is a non-intrusive, complementary health therapy involving the application of rhythmic pressure to the feet, hands, face or ears improving energy, blood and lymphatic system circulation. It is based on the theory that certain reflex points correspond to our organs and tissues. This gentle yet powerful holistic therapy may bring relief from a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions, support the body’s natural healing process and speed up recovery time. Reflexologists work along traditional healthcare promoting wellbeing and better health.

The session begins with a consultation including your health history, what to expect during and after treatment. You can ask any questions you may have before and during treatment. If you wish you can to soak your feet in warm salty water during our chat (this helps with relaxing the muscles and detoxing your body) or you can choose the Spa Treatment as an addition. Once you’re completely relaxed, you lie down in a comfortable position enhance by fluffy towels, blankets and cushions.

The reflexology session lasts approximately 45 minutes. During the treatment, it is your choice to relax and close your eyes or chat. Feedback, questions and requests are welcome at any time. Don’t worry if you fall asleep, it won’t affect the benefits. In general, everyone can be treated with reflexology. There are some contraindications and caution is advised in certain cases.
If you have

  • Undiagnosed pain
  • Deep Vein
  • Thrombosis
    Contagious or acute infectious disease
  • Under the influence
  • Open sores or broken skin areas than reflexology is not an option.

Each reflexology session covers the entire foot or hand. If you have a diagnosed specific condition that you would like more focus on, then I will work more on the related reflexes areas. Please bear in mind that for diagnosed conditions a multisession therapy is recommended to maximize benefit.
Also, If I discover any areas with congestion, during the session, I will focus on bringing this area back into balance.

Everyone reacts differently and the reaction depends on the condition we’re treating. Most clients experience, deep relaxation, lightness and sometimes a tingling in certain parts of their body. If you are a spiritual person you can even feel how the energy blocks are opening and the energy begins to flow as the natural homeostasis is reinstated.

Ideally to maximize benefits 6-8 treatments, once per week are recommended. From experience, you may not feel or see significant results until the 3rd or 4th treatment. However, the number of treatments is determined by the client’s health and aim of the therapy. In some cases, shorter, more frequent sessions are required. To keep a balanced well-being a session every 3 or 4 weeks is plenty.
